Bonjour Claude,

Cordialement
Michel Braud

If I owned both printers, I would do color with the 2200 and UC inks and do B&
W with the new Paul Roark curves and the UT-FS/FSN inks as the best, most
efficient use of devices and inksets.

Since I got a 4000, it's last call for the 2200 going on Ebay today, unsless
I hear from one of you first. $450 plus shipping.

The 2000P is slow compared to the 2200, but you can use QImage to batch out
printing overnight, so it's really FAST when you are sleeping. You wake up and
a bunch of prints are done already.

Hans -

Just because Michel doesn't handle English very well, and you may not handle French very well, dosn't necessitate everything being posted here in English. One cannot very well send an individual email to everyone on this list hoping that someone will be able to read French, etc., and respond. There's just no problem with posting in whatever language you need. If you don't post in English you limit the potential number of replies, but that's just an issue for the poster.

I don't speak/read French, but I got the just of the post. Besides, even if I didn't, I find it a bit refreshing to feel that I'm not always living inside corporate America where such rules as 'English Only' seem to apply.

Most of the translation engines are far from being useful . . . they give a "where is the bathroom?" interpretation at best. However for those who happen to understand the two languages involved, they are frequently the source of many hours of hysterical mis-interpretation . . . better than Leno, better than Letterman, better than Monty Python.

I understand and speak French, and frankly was pleased to see a post in a different language. While I don't agree with our stupid laws here (Quebec), I do think the more languages you understand, or TRY to understand, the better you will be, SO . . . if Michel wishes to post in French, let him do so. If you don't like it, hide in the corner and don't read it . . . problem solved.

p.s. the list guidelines don't mention anywhere the "decreed" languauge for posting . . . or is the internet now only "american"?
