Can anyone please advise on the relative merits of the various image
forms from the scanning stage to the creation of a good quality B&W
digital image?
The original image would be either a mono negative, colour negative,
colour slide or B&W chromogenic.
I'm interested in tonality and sharpness.
Assume the original would be a 120 film.
The scanner is a 4800 dpi Epson flatbed.
Many thanks everyone.
