Anytime that's convenient..It would be wise to re-set the chip at the same
time...Caution..Do NOT over fill these carts ..leave at least 3/16" at the
top with just "AIR"..

Quick question.... Can I top up the inks on the spongeless cartridges
before the ink runs out, or do I have to wait for it to empty in the
printer ?

Thanks

Mick

G'day -

I've been neglecting the B & W photography for awhile and am in need of inspiration. Could someone please recommend a good B & W photography magazine? Looking for a mag that includes both the artistic and technical aspects.

Any suggestions? I live in Australia but don't mind paying for an overseas publication if the quality is good.

Many thanks,

Ted

For the art side I recommend LensWork. The printed edition is very high
quality (they won an award) and it's available as an extended version on CD.
They don't cover the technical side.

www.lenswork.com

You might try Black & White Photography magazine. It's published in
the UK, but they'll send it anywhere. It has a mix of art (not as
glossy as LensWork, though) and technique. I've been a subscriber for
a couple of years and enjoy it very much. Here's a link:

Take a look at:
1. "Black and White Magazine for Collectors of fine art photography." -
www.bandwmag.com -USA- They show a lot of really inspireing work. Now 8
issues/year.

2. "Black&White Photography - Dedicated to the monochrome photographer" -
www.gmcpubs.com. -UK- Really nice magazine covering both analog (darkroom
too) and digital technique. 12 issues/year

3. "Silvershotz - The International Journal of Fine Art Photography -
Where art embracesphtography" -UK/Australia- www.silvershotz.com. It's a
sort of mix of the above two. 6 issues/year, I believe.

4. LensWork - www.lenswork.com - I just stumbled into this website/mag.
today - looks interesting.

Is there more - anybody?

Probably the best is B&W, the Australian mag for the art side.
Very fasion oriented.

There used to be two very good mags for dsrkroom and tech stuff,
but the mag importers dropped them! F'ing Gordon & Gotch...
