I experienced that problem several times. MIS will tell you to try a couple different things the details of which I've now forgotten. It didn't seem to me that I should have to go through the things they wanted me to do in order to make their product work properly. They were nice about it and replaced the cartridges. That was one of the various different quality control problems I experienced in my six or seven years of using MIS inks in an 1160, a 1280, and a 2200. The people at MIS were always very nice, always willing to replace defective cartridges with no questions asked, but eventually I just got tired of the problems and switched to Epson UC inks and QTR. . ----- Original Message -----
