A-190 and reset proceedure

A-190 and reset proceedure

2008-06-07 by David Bulog

I went do a full reset of the A-190 by powerup while holding buttons
1-4 on power up
When I powered the unit on the lights on the A-190 came on momentarily
and then no power.
Has anyone had a similar issue

BTW -How do I check if fuse is vlown

thanks David

Hi David

Was the A-190 working before you did the reset?
Have you checked if all three voltages are ok? -12V/+12V/+5V.
I don't think there is a fuse in the A-190 modul (just had a look at my
one)and I'm not familiar with the Doepfer power supply. In general you
could take the fuse out and replace it with a new one of the same
rating, or if you familiar with a multimeter take the fuse out and
check continuity of the fuse with an ohm meter.
Good luck.

Wolfgang

Hi David

The easierst point to test is the bus board (you might have to take a
few modules out for good access). The 16 pol plugs are label with the
voltages (check between GND and +5V/-12V/+12V).
Please do this only if you familiar with this type of work as
otherwise you might destroy the power supply or your moduls.

Wolfgang

Hi Wolfgang
Can you please tell me how to test three voltages are ok? -12V/+12V/+5V
on A-100P

thanks David
