Dark Time issue.

Dark Time issue.

2017-04-29 by karelvanbezooijen@yahoo.com

I contacted the software division of Doepfer this morning but maybe someone can confirm this.

Although I'm a long time Dark Time owner I noticed some strange behaviour.

When in 1-8 Combi Mode and the lower part is set to Velocity there's no gate output at 'Gate 2 Out'.

In Auto Save mode the Clock Divider is not saved correctly. When set to e.g. '1/4T' it is saved as '1/16.' so one clock setting slower.

Currently I'm using Firmware version 'darktime_V1.20_fw_c_131107'. As far as I know this is the latest version?

Best regards,

Karel.

can't confirm these, but i have noticed an autosave bug in my Dark Time re: midi channel.
i was using it in 1-16 (single row) mode on channel 2 for a bassline, and once in a very rare while after first turning it on the second half of the bassline would diappear, and upon investigating i found that row 2 had reverted back to default channel 1 (row 1 remained on ch 2 like it should). it only happened at initial startup (and it was only an extra 5 seconds to reset it when it did), but it is a "consistently random" bug i noticed. (not sure what firmware mine is; have to crack it open to look)
just my two farthings contribution!

I ask you to contact Christian Assall (software@doepfer.de) directly if you
find a bug in the Dark Time firmware.

Thank you
