Hi Rick!
Had the sequencer expander
installed in my VFXSD. Bought it from SYNTAUR PRODUCTIONS. It comes with
installation instructions so you can do it yourself if you have the know-how. (
I had my local keyboard repair shop install mine.) The price of the expansion
kit at that time was $99.95. You can contact SYNTAUR at:
inside USA: (800)
334-1288
foreign orders: (830)
627-1530
Fax: (830) 627-1531
Business hours are 9:30 - 5:30 central time,
Monday - Friday
This place has manuals, o.s. disks, eproms,
pedals,& sounds for VFX series & all other Ensoniq synths.
I'm sure you can get these things from Route 66 Studio
also.
To answer your question regarding the O.S. version: the
latest VFXSD version is 2.1. And your older sequences will play just fine. And
if you are ever so lucky enough to get an SD-1 ( the latest member of the VFX
family --- all your old sequences will play just fine on it
too.
Wishing you the best, Sandy Lane

i have a couple of
questions.

25,000 to 75.000
notes. is this still possible and if so, where would i get
this done.
2. what is the most current OS? im running OS 2.1. if there is

this, how do i go about installing the newest one and will be
