As I remember, the pedal(s) need to be On=OPEN contact. So getting one with a switch to reverse action, might be a nice thing, if You want to use it on other keybords (that don't have a software pedal-polarity-switch)

Hi guys.

I tried to plug my sustain pedal into the SD-1 but it doesnt work. I

just bought the thing at a music store so I dont think there is

anything wrong with the pedal itself.

Any ideas?

Yes, that's true. But then it would hold all notes as soon as it is plugged in. If so you can most likely reverse
the switch yourself. Serch the archive for instructions.

Hi,

If you have a manual, it should tell you which way the
switch it supposed to be, but I recall that not every
stock pedal will work with the ensoniq line for this
very reason.

Hi, Dave

True. The pedal needs to have TWO sets of contacts, since the normal polarity switched ones only switch the wires.
