Fairlight-CMI

Hi Kevin,

I am surprised that there hasn't been more of an issue made about this.  I
have always found the CMI 2X and CMI 3 to be very loud. I had Peter Wielk do
a lovely Papst fan mod to my CMI 2X. I bought 3 Papst 12V fans which Peter
simply replaced on the fan board inside the 2X. He also manage to find a 12V
source for the fans even though the original ones use mains voltage.
It made a really big difference and I am pleased that I managed to get this
done before Peter moved to Australia. It can be done but you need to find a
technical  whizz to do it ! I would like my other CMI's modified as well.
