Hi everyone,

I too have a noisy fan set in my MFX2, which I plan to replace as soon as
I have my new place set up, which I'm working on. My IIx fans are very
very quiet in comparison, they are in fact less noisy than my pc. (Yes the
fans are spinning ! ;-) ).

As soon as I do my modification (I plan on doing it myself), I'll let you
know how hard / easy it is.
