Crazy that you mention the foundation I have a foundation 2000 with dancing fader mixer and have yet to find a replacement. Nothing sounds as good and is as easy to use. The interface you mention has long time been the easiest to use interface I have seen. I do not know why more manufacturers have not adopted touch screen technology. there is a french company that is going to be making a touchscreen controller but it is not out yet looks promising.
