Fairlight-CMI

I feel with talent on this forum we should do allot more sharing of ideas or help 
one another more. I would like to see Rob's programme CMI Explorer 
enhanced with VS to Wave, Aiff etc and could you believe the power of this if it 
could turn wave, aiff akai etc to VS. The programme alone is fantastic but with 
a bit more programming it would be the most major developments for a Series 
III. This would make life allot more easier for a goal I have to have a Fairlight- 
CMI Forum Library Database were everyone submits samples and users at 
anytime can download samples they don't have. A Library would have a 
directory of every sound and all we would have to do is start a web page for 
Downloads that would cost buttons. Everyone here on this forum wants that, 
lets make it happen. We have engineers; programmers here in the group lets 
use them. The 32 MB Ram cards have been a big priority for the Series III 
users for nearly 3 years now lets share the information and make them. The 
components needed are so cheap and a member in the USA has the 
machines to make these boards and insert the components. Lets do it. Lets try 
and get other media options for the Series II. Lets look at updated software 
Revs for Series II III. We all know these are possible ideas. Let not make it a 
moneymaking organization but a shared community task.
