Re: CMI 2X storage solution is becoming urgent

2005-11-27 by paradyse_james

I' ve stoppped sampling in the IIx since 2 years as I don' t have
anymore 8" inch disks to save the sounds. I' m also thinking about
selling it as I' ve transfered all my library in more recent gear
that use compact flash card. Some friends have lost sounds as those
8" disks are getting less and less reliable. No doubt that many of us
will lose important data within the next years. Finally the IIx will
become a completely unusable sampler.
