Fairlight-CMI

Ok,

You can stop laughing.  But I have read on the internet that some feel 
that out of all the vintage samplers from the 80's, the ensoniq mirage 
nails the fairlight II 8 bit sounds the best.

I KNOW it is not a fairlight with all the other bells and whistles, 
additive sythesis, sequencer, etc.

I'm speaking cheifly of the sound of samples.

Has anyone both to compare?
