CMI III 9.34 minimum boot spec

OK : so Ive now got video working, but every time I boot my CMI, I get different memory configurations reported, and different number of CMI 31 cards detected. I am assuming there is something in the system casuing a problem on the backplane ? Is there some sort of minimum config

CMI IIX Disk image files

So, I spent this weekend making an adapter for connecting an 8" drive to a PC. Located the necessery powersupplies and hooked it all up to my old 486DX PC tunning DOS and Win 3.11. I can now make diskimages using the nifty program imagedisk. Disks are saved as IMD files on to HD

Hi Arron. You've obviously tried another VGA monitor ??? And checked the 10-way cable from the card to the RGB-01 DAC card ?? The CG3 card should give an output even if there are other CMI issues, however I seen instances when a defective Q209 will cause no video output.. Hope th

CMI series 3 - 8 meg RAM card DIP switch settings

Hello, I have 4 X 8 meg CMI - 43D RAM cards for my OS 9.34 series 3. I realize that each card must have its own address setting via the DIP switches. Does anyone know what the DIP switch settings should be on each card looking at the card cage from L-R ? Man thanks. regards, Jame
