I kept going through 30watt irons, tips and elements. Then I got a 15watt iron. Lasts alot longer. Of course I have a problem of forgetting to unplug them.

they work just fine - I bought some a year ago. Thin has an advantage that when you are doing double sided boards, you can see the traces through the board

there are often good deals on ebay. I got 10 6 x14 1 oz, FR4, 0.062 double sided boards for $25 + $10 (or so) for shipping. Not exactly a lifetime supply

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
