Re: Need Help Creating MP3 from Logic

2007-11-24 by yenoro

Hello All again,

Thanks for pointing out the automation feature which I wondered if it
was related to sending the sound outward:)

I am using OS X 10.4.11.

I have 2 GB RAM with my Black Macbook first generation.

My friend is returning home this evening and I am keeping my hands off
in order to avoid going in the wrong direction.

I could create the tracks without a problem but am running into the
problem only when trying to export or bounce the project to a MP3.

Let me add one thing to make sure that everyone is on the same page.

I do not have any vocal parts whatsoever and used the internal
software instruments for creating the various tracks. I can see the
notes created and playback is perfect.

Only one project used an Apple loop, but the same problem is happening
with everything related to creating the MP3s or getting the songs to
play within iTunes.

Changing the settings for PCM, MP3, or AIFF and trying to burn a CD
all resulted in hearing a dull cowbell sound and finding out that the
program crashed or I have to do a Force Quit.

Any ideas now?

This is clearly the most nagging thing experienced with LE 8.

But it too shall pass:)

Thanks again!

Peace,

Roney
