Apple Logic Pro /LogicExpress Discussion

"error while trying to synchronize audio and midi, sample rate of 40485 recognized check 
conflict between logic pro and external device"

This is the error message i get in my current session. How can I fix it? Ive tried using 2 
different interfaces but it makes no difference.

It usually means too much is going on - and your processor is overloaded, or 
you doing something else on the computer at the same time. Its a misleading 
error message.

I believe it is because your interface is running at a different 
settting than Logic itself. I had this error years ago when running a 
SoundBlaster soundcard - a decent soundcard solved the problem 
entirely. Check that the song you are trying to open is recorded at 
the same quality as the soundcard/interface is running - i.e. both 
are at 16bit, 44.1kHz or whatever. Failing this maybe it is a problem 
with both the interfaces your tried - are they good ones?
