You can alter the decay - the ringing - of the Model 13. This is due to circuitry I have added to cut the bleeding down. You can't do this with Doepfer LPGs, or Buchla 292's for that matter, nor with the Wiard Borg which is very close to the Buchla 292 in design. Looking at the P

Yes. Crossfading to nothing will give you an ultra quiet, ultra linear VCA for both CVs and audio signals. To do this, insert a signal into either the input B or Processor B, making sure there's nothing in the A inject or A Processor inputs and that that offset is at 12 o' clock.

Sounds like you need to recalibrate the 1V/oct setting. Being a triangle core, thus not having to worry about high freq compensation settings, it's quite easy to do. The proecdure is outlined here: http://www.buzzclick-music.com/track_adjust.jpg Nothing lasts forever, you should

Yes, with the following exception: The control input to a vactrol is a LED. In order for a LED to turn on, there must be current flow through the device - the cathode must be biased higher than the anode, which in the case of the M13 (and most other vac appliications) is shorted
