QTR-Quadtone RIP

Are you limiting the inks when you print with QTR?

In order to get a reasonable ramp from light to heavy printing, I usually
end up limiting each ink to less than 50% and often 25% when testing my
color printer. If I don't limit the ink levels, it's hard to distinguish
the squares after just a few and they look mottled to me.
