I had the Frank Kolwicz problem with 250GSM and 300GSM paper (heavy stuff). Initially I was able to use the top loader with these papers, with just a little push or flexing the paper initially to reduce its stiffness. After a few dozen prints I had Frank's problem (below). Something did seem to wear, maybe a microswitch? My fix was to load from the rear, the way I was supposed to in the beginning...however the printer remained cranky until I put it through something like Frank's sequence, as well as rebooting. Once I did that it became totally reliable again. There was no need to uninstall/reinstall the drivers. Aborted jobs (sometimes?) wind up as huge memory-hogging files in Temp memory (or somewhere else), so it's important to do a Disc Cleanup after problems. --- In QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com, Frank Kolwicz <kolwicz@e...> wrote: > > I get this problem with the Epson driver regardless of paper or > thickness.
