Roy, I've been having this problem for quite a while and I don't use my 2200 heavily, maybe 10-20 prints a month. I wonder if it isn't related to some paper's coating creating a dust that gets into the paper traction mechanism or a dusty environment. When brand-new all papers fed without any manual help, even fairly thick/stiff ones, but now I have to *carefully* guide and slightly push most papers for the mechanism to properly grab them just before the main printing action rollers. And, since I've been having some problems printing, I've noticed that the second and subsequent times a sheet has been fed is much more difficult than the first time. It seems to get worse as a printer ages -- like something is wearing down. I don't remember it happening ever on my printer but I have seen it happen on heavily used printers. I've been looking at the Epson driver output and it outputs an extra undocumented command, so I'll add that to the next version of QTR. Unfortunately since my printer doesn't fail it'll be hard for me to know if it helps. Roy
