I'll take it further. Black and white prints from Qimage often appear flat to my eye when printed using the Epson R2400 and K3 inks compared to what I see on the screen and what I get when printing directly from Photoshop.

My system is fully profiled and I'm pretty sure that the correct profiles are in place and that the printer is set the same in both situations.

I, too, would like to hear some ideas.
