I printed five test prints which included three photos, the 100 step graduated black and white sheet on a lustre and a matte paper. I ate dinner. I came back, took out the three cars, inserted the MIS carts, and the printer stopped printing. The night before I printed about ten color and black and white photos...all fine. I checked USB,switche out USB, tried nozzle test, didn't work. Re inserted OEM carts, nothing, went to control panel , nothing started printing. went to trouble shoot on epson...direct me to call tech support. Shut printer down a few times. Took out ALL OEM's put them back. No printing...put back in MIS, no printing...took out MIS, not printing. Tried to print from Ps..nothing....in the middle of all this the Ink light finally went off. Logic would have it the MIS carts did something because 1. the printer printed about 20 prints in two nights 2. printing stopped as soon as MIS carts went in and never restarted. thanks again Frank in NJ --- In QuadtoneRIP@yahoogroups.com, "Paul Roark" <paul.roark@...> wrote: > > Chips on MIS carts that don't work are not that uncommon.
