I wish there was. I'm using a computer program called Max MSP, which is an object oriented MIDI and audio programming language. I connect a theremin to the computer through an audio interface. One object in Max can 'see' the incoming sound. This is then analyzed by an other object, which outputs pitch in Hz and MIDI, can determine attacks and loudness and pitch and loudness of several overtones. Max MSP is not free, but they have a 30 day trial version, for Apple computers as well as Windows XP. The website is http:// www.cycling74.com/. Also I remember using a device that was, I think, built by Roland in the early 90s. it would put out MIDI in real time as well. No idea what the name of the thing was.
