It should be possible to find someone with an eprom burner in Germany, the 27C512 eproms are standard eproms that every burner can program. If you can't find someone I could do it for you, but the postage is higher as I am from Austria... I could also offer you two 27C512 so that you don't have to send your V2.2 eproms and that you can Compare the two versions if this would be interesting for you. All together would be 10 Euro (2 eproms, programming for free, postage to you). My S1000 is already upgraded and it works fine.
