Hello franck, i got the schematics, which I'm still scanning. This unfortunately takes more time than I thought. The problem is not only the large size of the pages, but the paper is so thin, that you can see the backside printing through it. So every scan has to be photoshoped and glued back together. But once it is finished (i think another two weeks), I will send it to formals777, who can put it in the files area. Best regards, Slash_Katana

My first post to the group, and it's not exactly sampler related: Here's another trick. If you don't have any black paper, you can "make" some with a photocopier. Don't place an original on the glass, and don't put the cover down. By making a copy of the "sky", there's little or no light reflected back to the copier's drum, so you get a nearly all-black copy. If the drum or other components aren't perfect, the black copy might be streaky - just touch it up with a black marker. The only drawback is this uses quite a bit more toner than a typical copy. --din5pin --- In akaiS1000S1100Samplers@yahoogroups.com, Tom Green <xman143@...> wrote:

Hallo Kevin, unfortunately I don't think that their the same :-( Only things in common would be the RAM-, SCSI- and SMPTE-Boards. I don't know, if the S1000 also had the DSP-board, which would be the same I guess. The AD/DA section must be different, cause the S1100 used other converters (delta-sigma) than the S1000. Maybe I'm off with my estimation, cause I never had a S1000. It's just a guess... Kind regards, Slash_Katana PS.: The schematics will be ready next weekend, for sure :-D

Hi Tom, thank you for this hint :-) I'm already finished scanning, but I have to stich all the little scans back together, remove the noise and redo some of the text and numbers to enhance the readability. Kind regards, Slash_Katana
