> > I'm considering buying another BCR2000 to cascade with my current unit and I was wondering, since I've never had the opportunity to use two of them together before, if I switch a preset on the first (master) unit, will the preset automatically change on the second (slave) unit? Or do I have to switch them seperately? You can attach a midi message to the preset. That is when you change the preset the BC can also send out Midi. This message/s can be up to 123 bytes. The patch change message is only 2 bytes so you can have a whole lot of them on different channels to change your whole setup including the other BC. > Well i can't totally answer your question but i know from using my Midi keyboard that when i changed instruments by pressing the "Next" instrument button the BCR2000 would also change to the next preset which was frustrating. SO i Basically changed the channel of my keybopard cause i knew it had to do with communicating on the same channel. The BC will change presets like any old synth with the Midi preset message. You can also turn it off so it wont respond. >pretty sure that you can stop both BCR's from changing presets by changing the Global channel value basically. But i'm not 100% certain on this. Hopefully someone else can elaborate more or correct me if i'm wrong. > Yep Hope this helps Royce
