Ah, but then you are talking about a different feature of the program than what I thought. These "do you want to save changes?" dialog boxes are related to the asterisks in the preset and control lists, which indicate which items have changed. The idea of these questions is to prevent users from forgetting to save their changes, but (as so many aspects of any program) they can be annoying or confusing as well. I can't immediately think of a way to improve this behavior, but I'll think about it. > You see my problem is, that I overlook if I am saving/sending one or all, and in past, I happened to save all, (thinking i am saving one) Hm, yes, this suggests that BC Manager should at least make the distinction clearer. I'll see what I can do. > Maybe the dialog:  "This will overwrite all presets (etc.)... Are you sure you want to do this?" will help, but why does it offer to rewrite everything? Personally I use the "send/save all" routine a lot. So if it did NOT exist, I would have to perform up to 32 individual send operations, and perhaps some people would then complain "why can't I send many/all presets in one go?". This just demonstrates how hard it is to make a program please everyone. Unavoidably, if a program has more features, it is more complicated and potentially confusing. So that may sometimes be a price to pay - which doesn't mean that I can't try to make certain aspects clearer. Mark.
