Bc2000 (for the BCF2000 & BCR2000)

hello everyone
im a completely beginner with both behringer bcr 2000 and the software (ableton live 8,2,2).
the previous week i just purchased a used bcr and i would like to know how to sync it with the software ableton live,
i visited the website of ableton and i found out that it is a supported midi controller.
after that , i reset everything and upgraded the firmware and the usb,
my connection is that the bcr is connected with the usb cable to the computer.
everything looks that works (usb mode 1 , the knobs looks fine) but i have no idea how to use it for the ableton live,
i want to start using it in order to play live performances as a dj.
i read some manuals and some things about the program called bc manager but i have no idea where to start,the manuals were really compicated for me.
can someone help me on how to connect it and how to map it through the ableton live?
im using google a lot these days but i can't really find any answers for it.

You don't need BC Manager to use the BCR with Ableton. Read the Ableton manual... The section on setting up and using hw controllers. It's very easy.

i opened the ableton live and followed the instructions about setting up my midi controller (in the tab Help on the right)
in the preferences i found my BCR 2000 (control surface and BCR 2000 for in and outs)
when i try to enable the 'dump' my device loads and set the message "Er 22"
am i doing something wrong? could you please help me and tell me what to do next?
im following the instruction and i hope that i can figure this out
