hey guys

hey guys

hey everyone - been working on a giant gate sequencer/drum machine project.
so i've gotten everything working - have the preset board working as 4 outs. but
looking at the schematics and looking at the preset board pcb my mind hurts!
do i need to cut traces and reconfigure the board if i want to use it as 8 individual
out on/off triggers? i have the buffer boards etc... but maybe someone can just
say yes dave you need to - then i'll do it :)

any words on encouragement or tips welcome thanks

Just pretend all the outputs on the preset board are labelled "F1" to "F8"
or "P1" to "P8" depending ont he type of output you want, then wire them to
the corresponding F or P inputs on the buffers.

hey thanks alot ken - allmost have it finished up. i was just rereading the pages and it
mentions not installing the 47k and 100k resistors on the buffer boards... is that just for
the dual/connected bufferboard? since i have a total of 4 do i take them out of all of them
except one or just the connected one? my brain hurts today i'm sorry! also i am short one
4081 and am going to see if a 4093 works - if not gota wait till monday... thanks again!

That is the reference divider. Only one is needed.

Nah, it will be up-side down, and foul up the logic.
