SpyderPRNT - is my sensor bricked?

2015-03-26 by billhansen2008@...

I have used SpyderPRINT for a few months, and it's been satisfactory, once several adjustments were made to profiles. But now the system isn't working.

I get the error message that "SpyderPRINT can't connect to your sensor". When I plug the sensor into a USB port on my computer, I can hear the Windows "bloopbleep" indicating connection, but SpyderPRINT doesn't recognize the sensor. I tried removing the sensor, closing the program, plugging the sensor in to USB again, opening the program again. Tried that several times. I looked at options under "preferences" in the program. Nothing helped.

When I push the sensor button, no light is emitted, so I really think it's the sensor which isn't working, not the program itself.

I've written to DataColor, an I'm waiting for a reply. Meanwhile, has anyone here had a similar problem, and was able to get the sensor working again?
