Hahnemühle PhotoRag 188 & 308

Hahnemühle PhotoRag 188 & 308

2006-12-10 by florent_thouret

Hi,

Here is a message posted by someone on the
"DigitalBlackandWitheThePrint" yahoo group a few days ago, without
answer...

I'm also interested because I made (with success) a PFP 2.0 profile
for 188gr, and expecting using it with 308gr (188 is cheaper than 308).

As a PFP2 user, is it needed to make another profile for 308gr ?

Thanks,
Florent

I made a different profile for my 308g Hahnemuhle. Other than the
hand the blacks do seem darker even to the eye. I am using an Epson
R1800 with an Epson Velvet Fine Art setting, Best Photo etc. Its a
very nice paper.

I'm going to try some new B&W prints with the extended grey targets
when possible. My family has been a little under the weather the last
week or so which severely cut into my creative time :-) Thankfuly
that seems to be breaking so we can get back to making prints! YAY!

Tom

Which printer are both of you using?

I also use an Epson R1800, but with Efillink CIS and inks... That's
for work.

I plan to buy an Epson R2400 (with epson inks and cartridges) for
personnal prints and B&W prints (personnal and work).

So, I'll have to make another profile for 308, thanks a lot...
