[disklavier] Re: Rules of Etiquette and Use of Yamaha in Conservatories and Colleges

1999-12-22 by Andrew Sellers

This group has a few features that could be helpful. One is the polling
feature. Hopefully everyone will take part in the polls since it could be a
great source of information. It would in fact serve at times to reduce the
amount of e-mails on one subject. For Example: How many owners of IIxg
Grands feel that the !@#!#% is too loud. (The word !@#$#% has been
substituted so not to give anyone an aneurysm.)

Keeping in the spirit of Humor. At least the !@#$#% issue has served to
promote this group. Yeehaa.

Top ten polls on this site.

10. Should Yamaha supply lifts so that you can vacuum under your piano?
9. Should the !@#$#% of the piano be increased so that you can hear it over
the vacuum?
8. Should Yamaha supply ear plugs to those the have !@#$#% issues?
7. Do you think that Y2K is affecting the !@#$#% on you IIxg?
6. Do you think that BMW should replace the CD system with a DC3IIxg?
5. Should the window sticker give a !@#$#% rating and state that actual
!@#$#% my vary?
4. Can a Casio keyboard accommodate a IIxg upgrade..and will it be tooooo
loud?
3. Should we have a tar and feather feature for anyone talking about
problems like !@#$#% that does not affect the majority?
2. Do you feel that Todd Muncy should run for president?

The number one poll on this site is.

DO YOU FEEL THAT WRITING IN ALL CAPS ALLOWS YOU TO BE HEARD OVER THE HIGH
!@#$#% OF YOUR IIXG GRAND?

I am looking foward to this new forum. Just kidding about the all caps
thing Joe. I am actually totally on your side on this one.

Have a Merry Christmas everyone and a Happy new year.

>Well said Buffy, I knew you were a class act.

>To Joe,
>You're right. Volume control is an extremely hot issue, for a small number
>of people. The activity on the DUG board proves it. Yes, I'm tired of the
>volume control issue and made a humorous (most people say) remark about how
>fatuous (look it up) the conversation had become. It would shock and
dismay
