Disklavier

Carol,

What you mention is EXACTLY what I want.

Silent system on, headphones plugged in = speakers off 

Silent system on, headphones NOT plugged in = speakers on

The problem right now is that the speaker is always on, even with the 
headphones plugged in.  As I mentioned in the first post, every time 
I want to practice silently I have to climb under the grand and shut 
off the speakers.

I guess I'd like to do 2 things.
1. Confirm the way the silent system on a grand is supposed to operate
2. Try to get mine fixed if this is not the way it's designed.
