I know that this has been addressed many times by the group over the years, but unfortunately, all of the posts have only led to more confusion for me. Please help me by clarify? I recently purchased an MX100II Mark II. From previous pianos, I already understand what happens to hammers from constant pounding. I recently purchased GNMIDI so I could batch convert midi files and make them appropriate for the DKV. In the GNMIDI convert volume function, the software gives two choices (radio buttons), one is for "volume" and the other is for "velocity". There is a "percentage" choice as well..this is self explanatory and an I believe I want a value of 80% or less. Since I don't want to flat line velocity performance within a song, should I just be selecting the "volume" option? Thanks!
