Re: Vendor Problems

2011-06-04 by Welton Barker

Well, back to the original problem. Does anyone have any advice for me? I've tried to be polite and patient, which has gotten me precisely nowhere. Repeated inquiries as to status are simply ignored. The only response I've received in the last two weeks has been a terse refusal to grant a discount that was being offered after my order, despite its pending status. Now I notice that the website says that there are "3 in stock" of the product I've ordered, yet still no action whatsoever, and a thundering silence meets every email. I'm trying to deal with this as a business transaction, but it is obviously not being handled in a businesslike manner. Isn't it a "business" when you offer a product for money? Shouldn't I at the very least be given a revised timetable for delivery?
