Hi Welton,
Sorry for the delay in response. I was in CA on a little weekend junket. Just got back.
There’s a saying – the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. This little ditty has made me very pragmatic as I have gotten more ‘mature’. If the horse is dead, no sense in beating it. In this case, I would decide what’s important – beyond what your expectations are with Paul. BTW, for the record, I have not dealt with him. My nemesis was Cynthia Webster from Cyndustries. At this point I would be looking to a) wait until he is good and ready or; b) make a list and start thinking about a little in-depth research to find the stuff elsewhere. Use the lists to solicit help maybe or; c) write the project off as a learning experience. B is my pick. I know there is money involved, but hell, not worth having a heart attack over. I’m sure Paul is laying awake at night worrying about this. J Since Paul does not make components and semiconductors, he has to get the shit some somewhere. About the only thing in recent times that I know is impossible to get is the little red power switch on my Mellotron. My rebuilder had some, and even then didn’t want to part with it for less than $50. I said nein, but he was a little embarrassed about how long the project took, so he threw it in for nothing. There are some people who do give a hit. Surprisingly Schreiber I guess is not one of them. As a business owner myself, I would have given you your money back long ago. It’s far easier. I mean, how much profit can he be making off this? I guess I am a bad businessman. Catch you later.
John

Subject: [dotcomformat] Re: Vendor Problems
Well, so much for waiting. I've received more excuses, but no product, and it is now a full ten weeks since my most recent order. I still hesitate to name the vendor, since this is such a small community, and I fear a backlash, but I am at my wit's end. Excuse follows excuse following total silence following excuses...
This time around, the delivery was supposed to have been this week. Well, it's Saturday, and no shipment has been initiated.
As for the web page displaying items in stock, the excuse was that the software was faulty. If that is the case, perhaps a different software should be utilized? Just a suggestion.
I've now made several phone calls (with no answer), left one message (with no response), and sent multiple emails, most of which were not answered; those that were simply put off shipment because of job and home responsibilities. This was accompanied by a claim that responses had been sent, but I had not received them. I've scoured my spam folders, and can guarantee that there is nothing remotely related contained therein.
Is it time for BBB and the Attorney General's office?
