Dana, It is a BDD analog unit. It does not stack up well at all to digital reverbs and clern digital delays if that is what you are looking for. Typical of analog bucket brigades, upper frequency suffers as the delay time increases. This is a completely different animal that can do mny things with digital jobbies cannot through the magic of voltage control. :-). I have two and love playing with them. But, they are what they are.
