I live in the US and have these modules,I like them very much. I have them mounted into a 22space portiable cabinet, with a DotCom power supply. COTK are a nice complement to any DotCom system. These modules are Moog Clones, with the same circuits as the originals. They are big heavy modules with a classic sound. 8 921b Oscillators 2 921a Oscilator Drivers 1 904a VC LPF 1 904b Filter Coupler 1 904c VC HPF 1 911 EG 1 958 Dual Quantizer 1 1620 4 Channel Morph Mixer 1 1630 Bode Frequency Shifter 1 1660 VC Phase Processor 1 1680 VC Analog Delay 1 946 LFO I have the 1670 Ensemble generator on order. Morbius, I read you LOUD and CLEAR! I've had a couple of episodes with shifty or inept businessmen in my pursuit to modular nirvana. Thankfully, I've avoided getting ripped off. I guess there's a reason why some synth manufacturers aren't the talk of the town, if you know what I mean? On the other hand I've had fantastic experiences with the folk who sell kits (Bridechamber, CGS, Elby) and of course dotcom. It's just that the allure of getting my hands on an esoteric module sometimes affects my judgment! I was all ready to buy some stuff... until the 'head guy' made me doubt his scruples. ----- Original Message ----- From: Ross Totino <mailto:Rtotino@gmail.com> To: dotcomformat@yahoogroups.com <mailto:dotcomformat@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Tuesday, April 08, 2008 8:58 PM Subject: Re: [dotcomformat] Club of the Knobs? Strange coincidence! I just found out about COTK today. I was wondering what the COTK references meant! I was lost at their website in a modular daydream trance. Their 20 stage phaser and ensemble effect are particularly enticing. Too bad their stuff is SO expensive. -Ross On Tue, Apr 8, 2008 at 6:46 PM, mastertnslw <tmdav@comcast.net <mailto:tmdav@comcast.net> > wrote: Just wondering why these modules don't get mentioned here. From what I can see they would be physically and electrically compatable with a synthesizers.com <http://synthesizers.com/> system. Am I missing something?
