.also can you not tweak the MD while Live is playing these MD clips? Even if
there is CC messages recorded in Live for each track is it possible to still
alter these in the MD while Live is playing?

If you want to use Live to sequence the you might just
want to sample the sounds and load them into Live, un
less you want to tweak some stuff on the MD as you
record the Live sequence. Still, the sequencer in the
MD, although more time consuming, is way more
powerfull to control the MD than controlling the MD
with any outside sequencer. Yes you can record
different MIDI channels on Live, but they're not open
to CC messages.
