Elektron Musical Instruments

Will someone please try this and confirm i am not the only one experiencing
it? MAKE SURE YOU BACK UP ALL YOUR DATA BY SYSEX FIRST, YOU MAY LOSE SOME OR
ALL YOUR PAT/KITS. 

1) go to global page and into midi section
2) after the midi machine key page (sorry i cant be more exact with my
wording but my MD is CRASHED AGAIN) go to the section that allows bank
patterns to be triggered by midi.....bank A is all assigned midi keys. turn
all these off.
3) this in turn will cause a bug, turning off your midi machine #7, set this
to whatever you have it as
4)  play with md as usual for a few hours or day or whatever, see if it
freezes up at any point, if not, thats good
5) when done with the session, turn it off, turn it back on next session,
does it freeze now?

this has happened to me since the beginning of owning this nightmare
machine. I have lost all my kits two times.  I assumed it was something
hardware based to do with the other hardware problems with the machine, but
after finally feeling like using my buggy MD again this week after getting
it back last month, i find myself in the same bloody position.  I am coming
to hate this machine.  If it would only F***ing work, it would be great, but
it doesn't so it isn't. I am sure it has to do with some bug in the global
pages, I have brought this up with elektron many times already, but thought
others out there could help confirm as they havent done much yet......
