Do you not find theres a slight delay in playback when the MD is used 
as a slave to logic, this is the reason why i was going to try using 
it as a sound module triggerd by logic/

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
