Re: [elektron] MnM with external Sequencer

2004-08-02 by Chris Thomas

Hey Flo,
This is similar to the problem I was having with getting my ESX synced
up with my MnM.
I was programming the ESX via MnM's midi tracks, and when I sent it a
pgrm change, the ESX would wait until the bar was done before it
switched. Thus the esx would change late every time because I had the
changes at the beginning of the pattern.
The only solution I could think of was to make special patterns that
would only get played once, at the end of a sequence, that had the pgrm
change at the end of the loop.. these patterns would only be played
once.. I didn't do this though because it was going to take some time to
figure out pattern wise. And I didn't have time to do so before the
LivePA I had to play..
As far as your multi-map problem goes - can't really help there - I
haven't tried to sequence it externally yet ;)

Cheers,
-Chris
