Re: [elektron] MachineDrum wiring to Protools ???????

2004-09-22 by Paul Love

Thanks for your reply I guess I could go out of the MD 6 outputs
Unbalanced to the anolog input of my 192 i/o db25 connector and then i
could record up to 6 single hits to 6 seperate mono tracks in Protools
at a time right? How do you specify in the MD which hits in you drum
sequence are assigned to the 6 different outputs on the MD and is that
the best way to do it in your opinion? The other question is since the
output jacks on the MD are all unbalanced quarter inch and the only
possible connectors on my 192 I/O ARE DB25 CONNECTORS would I need some
kind of modified custom cable or just go out the 6 MD outputs
unbalanced to DB25 unbalanced -10db anolog input? Sorry for all these
questions I am just usually a totally In the box software guy so
hardware is new to me!!!!!! Thanks for your time I apreciate it regards
Paul
