What is the most mainstream synth you own? I guess mine would be Reason 3. The only hardware I own is from Elektron.

> What is the most mainstream synth you own? I guess it would be the old soundblaster card in one of my old pcs :) that's about as mainstream as i think you can get. but yeah... probably my virus i don't quite see why you would exclude the mono from being "mainstream" (whatever that is), it does after all use mainstream synthesis albeit allowing several different techniques. plus a drum synth is pretty mainstream too ;) On 10/11/05, taco6 <taco6@...> wrote: > What is the most mainstream synth you own? > > I guess mine would be Reason 3. Yeah okay, but that i guess really depends on what you mean / typical experience with music stores is, as my local one - and most i've shopped at - sell access stuff and my local one stocks the monomachine too (i think). the only music stores that i've been in that don't are completely different types of music stores ie geared towards guitarists/drummers etc and god knows what they sell - i couldn't even get a pair of decent headphones at the big one down the road.

actually i'm starting to use it even more. some of my recent stuff are more techish and less ambient/minimal. my monomachine is probably my favourite machine though. i would never enter a stage without it nowadays.
