The zip you have is not scsi if it doesn't have the ID or termination switches, you need a scsi one.

thats what i though but in mine it is set up floppy #0 hd #1. if
there is a way to switch this i am all ears. as this may solve part
of the problem but i have searched and cannot find a way to correct
