We just dont understand your 'Logic'. Why should anyone have to go out and buy yet another software conversion software because the EXS24 software that you purchased does not work? This is unreasonable. You are at fault as well. I am sure that you have exerted so much pressure to bring the EXS24 to market that Emagic, probably against their better judgment, released the product a little early , knowing full well that it was not functioning properly. But it was probably the best compromise at the time. We saw all the email on EXS24. Everyone was waiting with great anticipation. Yes - lets just send yet another 'Bug' report. Do you honestly think that they dont already know about the weakness in the software? Do you honestly believe they released it without that knowledge? The company is doing very very well. So long as they have customers who buy their product site unseen. Did you notice how all they ever advertised was how it loaded samples quickly? Well thats all it seems to do real well. I think it is safe to say that Emagic sold about 10,000 Exs24 units initially. Which in US$ translates to roughly $3,000,000. We know about the costs etc. Nevertheless, thats pretty substantial project from a very small development team. I think it is further safe to say that they will sell another 10,000 over the next year. So conservatively speaking they should turnover about $6,000,000 for year one on this product not to mention the additional sales of LAMP and LAWP for those that want to use the EXS24. Thats very good profitability for a product that essentially is not professionally useable at this time. Well all we can say is that it is good marketability on the strength of their established credibility. Good luck to them and to you. > -----Original Message----- > From: Joeri Vankeirsbilck [mailto:joeri@...] > Sent: Thursday, August 24, 2000 5:10 AM > To: exs-users@egroups.com > Subject: Re: [exs] Akai S3000 conversion > > > > WE SHOULD DO A CLASS ACTION PROTEST AND SUBMIT OUR EMAIL TO EMAGIC. > > Or how about sending a bug report to this forum.
