EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

Well, I guess I should've done more research before buying EXS24mkII.
Anyway, it's too late, maybe someone here can point me in a new
direction.

On my old Ensoniq EPS I was able to do bi-directional sample looping
(loop the sample back & forth), as well as real-time modulation of the
loop point. EXS24mkII does neither of these things. Not necessary
features for things like pianos, but kind of essential for some of the
weird things I like to do. I can't even hear a difference when I try
to modulate the sample start point.  bah!

Is there another software sampler that runs on OS X with Logic (Audio
Units) that will perform these two features? I see Kontakt has
alternate looping modes, but isn't for OS X yet. Reason? Does it
integrate well with Logic? Does either of these support the modulation
of the loop point?
