As you know, modulating loop points and sample points are tricky for a sampler - it was difficult on the Ensoniq. Difficult meaning that you were almost assured of clicks and unusual artifacts, especially dealing with loop point modulation. How would a sampler know in realtime what a good loop point would be, and especially if you were changing it? It's almost doomed by concept. Modulating the sample start is the most common and most effective. It should be doable in EXS-24, keep trying. The Ensoniq had a great feature that was stolen from PPG, the Transwave theory. It was a loop modulation that was controlled - it would divide the data into "windows", and the modulator would step through the windows. Essentially wavesequencing (Korg terminology), I forgot the PPG term. However, you still had to precisely compose the waveform to match the windows you would select. A tool called Tranzillion made this easier. www.xs4all.nl/~avg/tranzilon/info.html Garth Hjelte Sampler User
